Renee Hatton
Yin, Baptiste & Tiny Toes Instructor

Renee was hooked from her first Bikram class. “I stayed in it for the full 90 minutes and felt amazing after.” Renee told me that she always knew the mental and physical benefits of yoga, but she was also looking to join a community of like-minded people. She found that at Yarrow having moved to Spokane in 2013. Renee is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy. She understands the importance of stretching to keep the body healthy, and letting go in order to balance out mental and emotional hardships of everyday life. She focuses a great deal on her breathing technique, moving through the poses with her breath in a steady rhythm. Renee has a gentle, beautiful style that translates comfortably to her students.

Renee graduated from Yarrow's Baptiste Inspired teacher training program in 2015 and became certified in the same year. “I have found more purpose in my life providing for others. And teaching yoga has deepened my faith in humanity, which has made me a more compassionate person. I especially enjoy the energy in the room as I’m teaching. People of all types and ages coming together to practice yoga. Witnessing students expand their understanding of each pose makes me smile - they smile too - smiles are good.”

Renee is also a certified children's yoga instructor. She teaches forTinyToes Yoga for Kids and her light heart and playfulness make her a wonderful instructor.
